The all-day event "Volunteering and Mobility" which began at 12:00 p.m. and was co-organized by the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras (STM), took place on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at the Science and Technology Museum (STM) of the University of Patras and was conjoined with the Department of Employment,  the Liaison of the University of Patras and the union of student organizations.

The event opened with greetings from the Deputy Rector of Infrastructure and Sustainability Prof.G.Angelopoulos, the Director of the STM Prof.E.Vitoratos and the Scientific Officer of the Liaison Office, Assistant Professor S.Vasilopoulos. In the context of the event, interesting lectures were heard on the benefits of volunteering and mobility programs by: P.Theologi-Gouti, Curator at the STM UP, A.Sarma, Communication Manager, Choose Life - The Center for Media and Attracting Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors of the University of Patras, I.Marinou Consultant of Eures, Head of the Vocational Training of Peloponnese &  Regional Directorate of Greece, "Erasmus +: Mobility in Europe and not only", P. Christia, Department of International Affairs of the UP, N.Dedousi, National Erasmus + Coordination Unit for the "Youth" sector, Foundation for Youth and Lifelong Learning, N.Tsouvalidis, European Youth Card, Foundation for Youth and Lifelong Learning.

In continuation, the student groups that are active at the University of Patras presented the volunteering and mobility actions they support. The event continued and ended at 9:00 p.m. with workshops organized by student groups and the Department of Employment, Career and Liaison of the University of Patras with very useful topics for students and more. The event was supported by the UP FM, the radio station of the University of Patras, which broadcasted speeches, music, as well as interviews by organizers and participants throughout the event and gave the event a pleasant note of celebration and promoted it to its listeners at Patras and not only.

The participants had the opportunity to be informed about the student groups of the university in stands that existed in the Museum, as well as from Choose Life- The Center for Media and Attracting Volunteer Bone Marrow Donors at the University of Patras and become Bone Marrow donors if they wished.
