The Association of the STM UP Friends is a non-profit association that aims to materially and ethically strengthen the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras to achieve its goals more effectively, to support the enrichment of the Museum's collections, to strengthen the Museum’s educational and research activities and to raise the general public’s awareness about the scientific and technological heritage and the goals of the Museum.

The Association was officially founded in September 2011 and so far its members have offered their services in the organization of Physics experiments and enrichment of the Museum's collections while they have participated in the organization of various Museum events for the public.
