The IBM Personal Computer XT (or simply IBM PC XT) is a personal computer released by IBM in 1983. It was the second generation of the IBM PC series, following the pioneer IBM Personal Computer (IBM PC) released in 1981.
It was one of the first computers to become popular in the business and home space due to its compatibility with many software and its capabilities.
