The Science and Technology Museum and the Academy of Institutions and Cultures organized a Temporary Exhibition on “The Antikythera Mechanism, the First Computer” from October 16, 2019- January 31, 2020.
The exhibition presented research results of the academic research team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, revealing through copies of the mechanism, interesting images and videos from the discovery of the Antikythera Mechanism, the decoding and the technical means used, up to the attempts to reconstruct copies in various phases of the research.
