Temporary Exhibition “Observing the climate from our window”

The Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras in collaboration with the French Institute of Patras organized an exhibition entitled: “Observing the climate from our window”, at the Science and Technology Museum, from March 7 to May 15, 2016.

The exhibition was intended to help the public to reach out to the alarming global phenomena that are now shaking the planet. Each image poster tells a story that is explained with texts that gave the scientific point of view so that everyone can observe from their window the climate disorders that occur and to feel that it concerns them. The exhibition was designed by Terra eco, a publishing team set up in January 2004 at the initiative of a group of journalists who wanted to change the world and advocate for sustainable development issues. It was translated and offered by the French Institute of Greece.

The exhibition was enriched with material from the Science and Technology Museum. During the exhibition, educational activities were planned for groups of Kindergarten, Elementary and High School students during the months of March, April and May 2015. The educational activities were specially adapted to the above ages.
