Volunteering and Science and Technology Museum in the Covid-19 era

On Saturday, December 5, 2020, at 6 p.m., the Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras (STM), and the Association of Friends of the STM organized an event "Volunteerism and Science and Technology Museum in the CoVID-19 era- STM honors its volunteers and its sponsors”.

The Rector of the University of Patras, Professor Christos Bouras, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Professor Markos Marangos relevant on COVID-19, and the Dean of the Department of Natural Sciences, Professor George Papatheodorou gave a welcoming greeting. A speech followed by the Vice-Rector for Research and Development, Professor Panagiotis Dimopoulos, on "Towards a unified, centrally designed framework for volunteering at the University of Patras".

Volunteers/collaborators then spoke about their experiences with the STM and honorary diplomas were awarded to volunteers and sponsors for their contribution to the Museum during the academic year 2019-2020.

The event was accompanied by music with excerpts from concerts held at previous Volunteering Events at the Science and Technology Museum.
