“University of Patras, Science and Technology Museum: Interacting with Society”

The Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras (STM UP) participates in the Development Forum 2023 with a Round Table discussion “Science and Technology Museum UP: Interacting with society” on Saturday, November 13, 2023, at 6:.00 p.m. November 18th has been designated as European Academic Heritage Day and every year Europe's university museums celebrate it in various ways, with the aim of contributing to the opening of universities and science to local communities.

The event will start with the presentation “ Science and Technology Museum: Embracing Science and Technology for the Benefit of Sustainability” by the Director of the STM UP, Professor of the Department of Geology, Ioannis Iliopoulos and Peny Theologi-Gouti, curator of the STM UP and Vice President of the Greek Section of the International Council of Museums-ICOM

Then, collaborators and fellow followers of the Science and Technology Museum in the approximately 15 years since its opening to the public present their experience of their collaboration with the Museum and its benefits.
