Seminar on "Children, Parents, Teachers, all Together for a Secure Internet"

On the occasion of the Safer Internet Day 2015 "All together, for a better Internet!", The Science & Technology Museum (STM) UP and the Department of Health Education of Achaia, in collaboration with the  46th, 49th, 50th, 55th  Elementary Schools of Patras are organizing at the STM, an event on "Parents, Children, Teachers, all Together, for a Better Internet!" on Sunday, February 8, 2015, starting time 5:30 p.m.

The event was opened with a keynote speech by Ms. Violeta Sigala, Director of The Psychiatric Clinic of the General Children’s Hospital of Patras “Karamandaneio”, "How parents and children can spend time together online". Then on behalf of the STM Mrs. Penny Theologi-Gouti, Architect Mech-Ethnologist, Curator of the STM & Christos Alexiou, Student of the Department of Cultural Heritage  Management and New Technologies of the UP, a STM Volunteer referred to "Internet use by children and parents".

In the second part of the event, Parents/children/teachers participated in one of the Experiential Actions: "Personal data on the Internet", "Videos & Photos on the Internet", "Social Networks", "Online Games", "and Internet Harassment". Then each of the groups presented in the STM auditorium ways to contribute to a better Internet.

In the end, Parents / Children / Teachers all together "Envisioned and painted a better Internet for the future". Angelo Papagelopoulos, (Musician) supported the last activity with music, from the 10th Elementary School of Aigio.
