  Science & Technology Museum, University of Patras Campus, Greece

The Science and Technology Museum of the University of Patras and the Departments of Cultural Affairs of Primary and Secondary Education of Achaia, in collaboration with the Panhellenic Teachers Association of Informatics (Achaia branch) and the Patras Visual Artists Association, as well as Primary and Secondary Schools for the academic school year 2020-2021 are implementing the thematic network.

Objectives:

1. Acquaintance and familiarity with the possibilities offered by technology and especially digital games

2. Familiarity with technology through art

3. The role of art in improving the capabilities of technology

4. The Science and Technology Museum as a means of inspiration and education

5. Creation of digital games for the Museum

6. Strengthening the Museum-School relationship in the context of co-creation activities

Activities:

  • Training Day for teachers on the creation of digital games and the role of art in understanding and creativity. The conference will be implemented live or through a platform, depending on the prevailing conditions, in November 2020, in the afternoon
  • Participation of students-teachers in at least one educational program in the permanent or periodic exhibition of the Museum in person or through a platform, depending on the prevailing conditions
  • Creation of digital games for the Museum

Final Event for the International Museum Day

• In May 2021, live or through a platform, depending on the prevailing conditions
